Ethnic Dating

Why is it that some people have issues with people from other ethnic groups dating people from their own?
Is there a name, word or description for this?
Reverse Racism? Or another “ism”? The only words that come to mind are “double standard” and “hypocrite”.
e.g.
White women dating black men, but they don’t like it when black women date white men.
or
Black women dating white men, but they don’t like it when white women date black men.
I’m so over this double standard. We’re all humans you know, each to their own.
Typo Edit. Sorry.
I accidently left a bit of the question out.
It was supposed to read: ‘Why is it that some people have issues with people from other ethnic groups dating people from their own, when they date interracially themselves?’
It does seem hypocritical. Here is however, the thing to consider :
If they have dated inter racially themselves and yet ask a loved one not to, what could be the reason ?
Perhaps they are familiar with the pro s and con s of the whole deal ? Perhaps they know what could likely go wrong ? Perhaps because they know how hard it is to make it work ?
I am all for Inter racial dating. But if someone is against it, I will surely give their reasons a listen and then make my own decision.
I think the major problem with IR dating is that when it works, its great. But if it fails, people come out all bitter and racist. Blaming the entire race instead of taking responsibility for the relationship.
Failed IRRs contribute more to hostility between races.
